I have noticed many foreigners think Africans stink whenever I am fighting pple in the black american facebook groups, they always say stinky, dark skinned Africans when I was also fighting in the white facebook group, the same insults. .we stink one white guy in Australia said he avoids African parents in his sons school because they stink As a lover of Africa, I find this sad well. I have noticed Africans dont use deodorants or perfumes perfume is understandable maybe Africans think they are expensive who cant afford it but deodorants are not expensive, roll on and body spray lucky for me, I know I can afford deodorants and expensive perfumes but I have realized some of my African friends dont use them maybe they cant afford them, I dont understand Ghanaians in general are very neat, clean, known to be the neatest people alive Ghana might not be the richest country but they have been able to achieve a neat and clean culture |

From my travelling experience I think each race/tribe has and is used to their perculiar smell. But improper hygiene makes the smell to be awful/stinking. If u want to know the meaning of stinking, go close to an oyibo. Most of them can stay weeks without bathing. They only wash their hairs, brush their teeth and then wear perfume, finish. But because they are used to their stinking smell, they don't perceive it. Africans de bath joor. 1 Like |

Onilaiscool: I have noticed many foreigners think Africans stink Is really sad, that they still have this views of Africans. Truth be told some Africans does smell like armpit, like you said some don't use deodorant. Lots of white people also smell like wet dogs. |

CAMNEWTON4PRES: They are dumb You are wrong. We need to use deodorant. The poster of this topic is right. I had a friend who didn't use deodorant and i tried to ask him about it and he said he didn't need because he didn't smell. Meanwhile, his oyinbo roomate thought otherwise. 1 Like |

Anyone can have smell when they sweat, esp guys. Ive noticed this in all nationalities. And for sure some do tend to sweat more than others too. Generally though, the africans i know are very clean and smell very nice. I know some africans who think we are unclean too, I myself was asked if i wash Generalising on the whole is never a good thing, but not all ppl think like that thank God. 2 Likes 1 Share |

What do you mean Africans stink? lmao When did you start equating Bantus with Africa. When they say Africans stink, they mean Bantus/Negroids. |
Re: This Stereotype Abt Africans Stink by Nobody: 9:11am On Aug 31, 2014 |
davidif:You're wrong bro, its important to bath to rid one of dirt, dried skin, sweat, bacteria and germs, oil and other body fluids on the skin. Shave all armpit hair and pubic hair and facial hair trimmed and then use a deodorant always. You might also consider use of a light/mild perfume but apply lighty. 1 Like |

Men need to learn from ladies. People in general need deodorant as they get older. But oyibo have some peculiar smell just as black people. It is obvious to black as whites come closer to them and the same is true when blacks get closer to whites. Perfume and deodorant reduce or eliminate both smells. The older people of black, white, brown and red have another called 2-nonenal. The best way to reduce it is heightened hygiene by regular daily bath, mouth brushing twice or three times a day after a meal, just before going to bed. If younger people around still detect the smell, perfume and deodorant a must. This is a very sensitive issue on the job and around friends. If I get my hands on an article that addresses it, I will post. |
