Good day Hotmas911! Compliments of the day. Am interested in acres for the cultivation of Rice under the lease arrangement. Which I intend to do next year.
I need clarification to this questions:
(1) Have this acres already been clear by caterpillar machine I.e. via removal of trees that will aid tractors to plough/harrow freely.
(2) Are tractors for hire readily available within the locality?
(3) Availability of labour for planting and harvest period.
(4) Are there nearby rice processing mills?
Am currently working on a 7 acres of rice and 3 acres of soybeans, so was hoping to do a more higher scale by next year. Down here in Benue state, lands are equally hired and you find several rice processing mills around the locality that attracts buyers from the east and koji state.
