There was an incident that happened about two months ago along Lagos-Badagry expressway before a town called muwo. Suddenly people living in the area were served demolision notice and they did not take it seriously until about a week later they just came with police armored personel carriers, black maria and buldozers and they started demolishing their houses with their properties, any body that complains was been bundled into the black maria. There's even this big hotel that that worth over 40million naira that was demolished, we heard that the owner borrowed money from a bank and upon seeing his demolished hotel, he slumped and died. The last time i went to the area, all the buildings had been demolished and the rubbles has also been cleared and also they already put a signboard that the land is to be used for a police barrack.

I will always advise my fellow nairalanders that wants to buy land from the omoniles to always investigate the land to know where it falls, whether it falls in committed government acquisition or not because we have three types land.

Firstly, committed government acquisition,

secondly, non-committed government acquisiton and

Thirdly, free land (land that falls within excision).

Among all this land, its the free land that is the best. But also you can buy a non-committed land but you need to obtain a governor's consent so that government will be notified and perhaps someday when government sees that the place is very developed, they will do remapping and free the land.

If you want to investigate your land to know the category it belongs to, or maybe you want to obtain governor's consent at very affordable prices you can call us at 07062309908 or email us at emmyscape@gmail.com. Thank you.
