An interview with a spirit.

Having been accused of trying to understand God the wrong way, i.e. from a materialistic worldview, I refocused my energies on understanding the spiritual world instead. My intense concentration on matters of the spirit put me in a trance last night, where I was visited by an spirit. Here is my conversation with it.

What is a spirit?

A spirit is the essence of a being.

Where do spirits come from?

Spirits come from God.

What kinds of spirit are there?

There are good spirits, evil spirits, the Holy Spirit and other spirits.

How come?

Good spirits are the ones that obey God. Bad spirits are the ones that disobey God. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God. Any other one is an other spirit.

Is God a spirit?

Yes

What of Jesus?

Yes

What kind of spirits are they?

Other

Shouldn't they be holy spirits?

The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God. God's spirit is an other spirit. Same for Jesus.

Am I a spirit?

No. You are a physical being.

Can I become a spirit?

You have a spirit which is confined to and under the dominion of your body. When you die your spirit will be loosed from your body.

So I will be a spirit and a body?

No. You will be located in the spirit. Your body will be destroyed.

Is my spirit an evil spirit?

No. Any spirit that is confined to a body is an other spirit. After death, you may then become a good or evil spirit. You may not become the Holy Spirit.

Why is my spirit confined to my body?

I don't know

What are the good spirits confined to?

Nothing at all. They reside in heaven and sometimes make visitations to the earth.

And the evil spirits?

They reside in hell and take extended trips to earth. On earth they tend to reside in the bodies of humans and animals. They can also stay on their own, in haunted houses and other places.

Why can't my spirit travel too?

Your spirit can travel, but it requires level 6 clearance to do so. Your spirit may travel anywhere except to places that provide a direct view of God.

Why?

Spirits that are confined to bodies do not possess sufficient clearance to see God

Hmm. So how do spirits see?

They have spiritual eyes.

They have a nervous system?

Yes, a spiritual one.

What do spiritual eyes look like?

They look like physical eyes.

What makes them spiritual?

They can see spirits and spiritual objects.

What colour are God's eyes?

God is a formless presence. He is a pervading comprehension. He does not have eyes.

Is he blind?

What? No! He can see without eyes. He does not have any discernable features. Don't you know what formless is?

So how can you see him?

You feel an awareness of him, and see him in your minds eye.

What is the colour of his eyes in your minds eye?

Shut up.

Why is God formless?

Reality is not powerful enough to render him.

Does the spirit of God have a form?

I just told you that God is formless.

Isn't the spirit of God the Holy Spirit?

Oh. The Holy Spirit looks like a bird. A dove, actually.

The Holy Spirit does not have hands?

He doesn't need them.

What does he need a birds' form for?

You can ask him when you die.

Okay...what do other spirits look like?

They look like you and I. Faces, hands, legs, the works.

How is a spirit different from a body?

The spirit can control the electrical charge of fundamental particles, thereby at will causing them to repel or attract. The spirit can therefore go through other objects. Spirits can also fly, and affect other spirits, bodies and objects from a distance. These depend on the power of the spirit which is in turn related to the age of the spirit.

Do they feel pain?

Yes

Pleasure?

Yes

Hmm.

Nothing. What kind of spirit are you?

I am a good spirit.

Like an angel?

Yes.

Where are your wings?

Only the Holy Spirit has wings.

Which he doesn't need?

Yes.

You don't need them either?

Yes
