Location: EDE STREET, OGBUNABALI, TRANS-AMADI, PORT-HARCOURT CITY.

It was about 4:30a.m I was still on my bed half conscious of myself, I was waiting to hear the sound.

I picked up my phone to check if it's time yet it registered 4:33a.m, I hissed and lay to continue my sleep waiting for the time the sound (cry) would come, my second me (conscience) reminded me of my waiting, I quickly rose from my point of lay picked up my phone and checked the time again and it registered 4:57a.m, it was as if the world was at a stand still, I listened attentively to hear if there was any sound of any kind, I didn't hear any except the tick-tick sound made by the wall clock, and the zzzzzzzzzzz sound from the refrigerator in the kitchen.

"Let me sleep a little for the last time, when I wake up I must surely hear that sound" I said to myself and lay back on the 17 inch foam that lay on the bare tiled floor.

"Oh my Goodness" I shouted as I heard a sound, I quickly rose from my slumber and listened keenly to know what sound I heard. Kokokrokoo I heard a rooster crow, Kukukrukuu oo another rooster chorused in response "what nonsense is this?" I said as I cursed under my breath "what is wrong with all the Mallams and mosques around? Have they all gone on holidays?" then i realized i was in Port Harcourt city not Kaduna where the loud echoes from the Mallams prayers in the mosque wakes us early on daily basis.

I picked my phone (Tecno Phantom F7, android 4.2 jellybean) and pressed the power button and it displayed 7:21am like it was a time bomb.

"Jesus!" I shouted, " I am late!" I hated going to church late, moreover I am a member of the Technical Unit we are supposed to be in church by 6:00am to prepare against service by 7:00am.

My church is Living Faith Church, along NNPC/Kachia road, Waterlines, Rivers state.

Mind you I attend two churches I was born in Assemblies of God church, I started attending living faith for reasons best known to me, before I joined living faith I attended Believers Love World a.k.a Christ Embassy, I took to my heels when I discovered I was doing more harm to myself than good, the kind of dressing the ladies there dressed could make a guy to cum instantly, it made my third leg to always leap in joy thereby distracting me from listening to the little word of God preached in pretence, I don't see God, Jesus, Holy spirit, Angels, the 24 elders, nothing in relation to heaven there except imaginations of me on one of any of the big as.s ladies who always stood by my side wearing usher tag every Sunday as if they were sent on a mission, banging her intimately, in my imagination I have banged all the fine fine girls in the church including the Pastor herself with my perverted mind which I garnered from their prostitute like appearance, with my very penetrative eyes I have seen all their womanly properties, it happened that one day I returned home and discovered I had cum in my boxers.

Am sorry to state all these about this church, but to bare my mind I must say it the way it happened, I hate lying or mincing words.

To make matters worse the pastor, a woman (some of you in Kaduna will know her if you have attended the church, I am tempted to mention names but I resist it in Jesus name) always wore to church sexy skimpy dresses that reveals her cleavage, luscious thigh and a part of her protruded fair tommy which made my third leg to dangle profusely like the up and down movement of the head of a raged agama lizard trying to escape death (that's the reason behind my imaginary intercourse with her, none of you guys reading this would see her and would not want to browse through her misleading website even if the server is bad or slow)

Finally, I had to leave that church because I was spiritually dead, I needed revival, so I joined living faith but was getting prosperity messages before I discovered FGBMFI (Full Gospel Business Men Fellowship International) through a friend, this group of ardent Christ followers helped me a lot to become what I am today, thank God for redeeming my soul.

I rushed to prepare for church, I said a fast prayer, brushed my mouth (is it mouth or teeth that is brushed? Correct me abeg) took my bath, wore my clothes, made to leave then I discovered I have not combed and brushed my hair (I do the both, after combing I brush) I applied a little cream on my face, legs and hand, locked my door and headed straight to church.

I got to church by 7:43am with my I.D card on my neck I can go and pass anywhere in the church, I quickly rushed to the console, our leader started murmuring complains against my late coming because I am in charge of visual (everything that appears on the monitors both big and small, from projector to cameras) the pastor needs me all the time both for message and announcement projection as no other person was capable to handle it let alone the way I manipulated all the visual gadgets, that explains why I am a geek.

The church service proceeded, I have taken my position as usual, smiles beaming all over the pastors face the reasons not far fetch the visual is back as he always loved it. It was testimony time after little praises by the choir (it was poor though, the choir people in my church no dey try at all, always singing rubbish.) That was when it happened...

I had indicated that I have a testimony to testify, it was as if it was plotted, church that records over 30 testimonies from different testifiers only had two testifiers today, the pastor was perturbed though he didn't show it but fault finders like me saw it all over him.

We were called upon to testify me being the first, I collected the microphone from the pastor (first time in history, no one has ever collected microphone from the pastor directly while he is still on the pulpit, I like violating rules and laws like wetin I no no, maybe Saddam Hussein.

The pastor cared less about my action because he likes me so much, but has never dashed me a dime before not even sand, the church members were all astonished and were looking at me like I was the ghost of angel Lucifer, I didn't give a hoot about them as long as the pastor accepted my action in good faith, I continued) and testified How God saved me from fire outbreak that almost razed my house, I left water heater (boiling ring) in water it had dried all the water, burned the plastic bucket almost to the base, and I was cooking on my gas stove, the oil on the fire had caught fire, the pot was on flames the cylinder which was by the side of the burner already heating up and I just refilled it yesterday, I wanted to prepare stew for the next day being Sunday. And on the electric stove was nothing but red over-heated plate, I wanted to warm the little soup remaining so that I can eat it but forgot to place the pot on the stove. I was carried away by the match that was televised on the the television it was a second leg match between Manchester united and Chelsea, in the first leg Chelsea had beaten Manchester united 3 goals to 1 thereby claiming a win, all thanks to our new stupid coach David Moyes. Here again they (Chelsea) are leading with one goal, it irritated me how Carrick missed a golden opportunity he had to score a fantastic equalizer, he was just a strolling invincible object on the pitch, "it is Rooney again with the ball heading towards Chelsea's defense line, he has beaten Mikel Obi who stood and wondered in awe how he was beaten and made to launch an attack...

oh no! He's passed to Van Persy, what can the deadly striker do with that ball in his leg?... goal!!!!!!! This is a superfluous shot from Van Persy, Peter Cech was nowhere close to catching that ball" the commentator said "no no this is a terribly keeper-killing shot, the goalkeeper didn't see the ball at all, he only saw the net vibrating which is better for him, if he had attempted to catch that shot, he may have incurred 8 years injury" the second commentator said in reply. Manchester united has equalized in the dying minutes of the game, what a wonderful goal from Van Persy what a wonderful strike and a wonderful finishing! This is actually a match to see. That is the man that created the chance (camera focusing on Rooney as they all celebrate). This young lad would possibly be disappointed he allow the goal from his wing," the first commentator said. "Mikel has not been doing well since the beginning of this season he may be going through emotional trauma" the second commentator quipped "why do you think so?" The first asked "I heard from a reliable source that he pregnanted the daughter of his manager Jose Morinho" the second replied "this is another opportunity for the blues... oh no, it's over the bar" the first commentator shouted. It was at this point I started perceiving smell, I recalled and ran to check, there I met the surprise I saw, I ran and offed everything, hated myself and cursed under my breath "all this just because of one silly Manchester united! What have I gained since I became a fan of the red devils? Nothing I replied myself and hissed aggressively" I learnt later that Manchester united lost the game 2-1

CONTINUATION...
I narrated my story as regards the testimony without narrating in details the football match (as e no make sense say I come dey tell the whole church say so so and so happen between Manchester united made Chelsea).

It was now the turn of sister Rose to tell of what the Lord has done for her while we waited for her to finish so that the pastor would pray for us.

Did I say we? Yes we, my family members joined me for the testimony. In my family we cherish testimony a lot, if one went to the toilet and sat on the wc for minutes before he could defecate we must thank the Lord, the last time our dog put to bed we did thanksgiving, it's our norm.

"Praise the lord...
Prai, Prai, Praise the lord." Sister Rose shouted in joy

"Hallelujah..." the church chorused in unison.

"Brethren the lord is good, anyone who says the lord is not good is a liar."

The whole church watched and listened, some with mouths gaped as if it was an angel testifying.

"My brethren two weeks ago, I went to to the market to buy some gift items which I wanted to present to my friend that was wedding the following day, I strolled round the market to pick out the best gift..."

"Be fast" the pastor conducting testimony whispered.

'I was there, suddenly a white Toyota computer bus with a red cross sign on its front halted in front of the shop I was patronizing, some group of young men in white all their body covered with transparent clothe-like cellophane, like miners in planet Mars numbering about 8 whom I presume to be doctors alighted from the bus and rushed to the shop I was, came straight to me and asked "are you Miss Rose Arosi?" Aronsi, I corrected and watched them in surprise wondering what was happening, how they knew my name, how they located me here, all these and so many more were going through my mind, before I knew what was happening the leader signalled the rest, immediately they flung a cellophane sheath over me and trapped me in it, that way they bound me hand and leg, i struggled with them to no avail, I tried to shout but couldn't hear myself. They were about to carry me when the attendant of the shop protested and asked why the arrest and why her customer was being treated like a plague, their leader replied her.'

'Madam you have no idea of the happenings in town, I am Doctor Lukan from Lexican de Specialist Hospital, he brought out his I.D card and showed her. I am the only doctor that can treat the new plague called 'EBOLA' in Nigeria presently.

At the mention of that name fear gripped me, gees pimple appeared all over my body, the attendant was not left alone too as I saw fear in her eyes, she was unconsciously shivering.

'We are taking you along and this place would be sealed till further notice' the doctor said, the attendant protested rigorously, the other doctors grabbed her instantly and did to her what was done to me.
We were taken outside, immediately the police appeared from nowhere and sealed the shop, in the vehicle I believe was disease proof we were kept and driven to a location unknown to us.

Like the doctor knew what I was thinking, immediately he spoke
'We are taking you to Masunga where the government has prepared a special hospital for EBOLA patients and suspects to be quarantined and observed or treated based on what the case maybe'

I looked at myself and asked myself EBOLA! how come? When did it happen? Where did I contact it from? So am going to die!... blood of Jesus! I looked at the other victim she was all tears...

With a few corrections here and there, the work can become a masterpiece.

Nice job, bro.

At this point the pastor who was conducting the testimony had started shivering, fear written all over his body, he made involuntary movements at intervals. Silent ruled the moment, I looked and saw three persons (a guy and two ladies) walking out of the church hastily, where they were sitting was where sister Rose had sat the, testifier noticed the odd behaviour too but chose to ignore.

'I had pity on her (sister Rose continued), she was innocent I whispered in my thought, come to think of it who is guilty? I asked myself... wao wao wao, the siren blaring came, zooom zooom! The engine of the car came alive and off we go to a place we don't know.

Masunga! The name struck me for the third time in a succession, Where could this place be I asked no one in particular but myself. We drove for about one and half hour, I am not sure but from the mental calculation I did from the time we left the shop to the time we arrived our new location my judgement should be correct.

We were brought out and taken to a very large hall that could be as large as a stadium, the surrounding looked unkempt as the land was not smoothly leveled, the walls of the building was still in painting process. Construction workers could be seen working around afar off except for the medically inclined ones that wore treated transparent clothes that covered all their body, for the first time it struck me to ask "what is EBOLA? why is everyone afraid of the EBOLA this way? Is it real?" I don't think so I answered myself since I can't talk to anyone even if I do no one will respond, I never believed EBOLA was real, I only heard daily on NTA news how it had affected and killed people, at the mentioned of that I shouted blood of Jesus! In my mind, i remembered my pastor preaching one good Sunday morning, first service, he said "the disease of the Egyptians shall not come close to us," i screamed amen again, this time very loud that the doctors became terrified and made to run.'

'Bring the stretcher' the leader ordered
'stretcher! for what nau? I querried myself, I can walk jor, release me let me walk with my legs I said rather to myself, in seconds the stretcher was brought and we were laid on the two stretchers one for each of us and were rolled into the large hall...

CONTINUATION

In the hall were numerous beds covered with blue clean clothes with inscription on them that reads (hospital) we were laid on separate beds in another segment of the building far away from others (maybe because we were still under scrutiny as they said) from there we could picture every part of the building, other victims laid there too, one of them had died and was embalmed and carried away, I watched in awe as his body was carried, is that how I would be carried someday? Was the question I asked myself "God forbid was the answer I replied myself". All the doctors left into an entrance opposite where we were, in few seconds some persons with mean faces dressed the same way as the doctors initially, came out from the same entrance they outnumbered the former, they could easily be identified by their red tags, the former wore blue tags, immediately other group of men and women in the same likeness came with electronic gadgets of diverse caliber, immediately they started fusing and piercing our skin just to collect blood, so many gadgets were fused to our skin simultaneously, so many beep sounds here and there, we sweated profusely amidst the the gigantic healthy working air-conditioners all around the building, the doctors left and returned in about 20 minutes time, the head doctor whispered into the ears of one of his crew members who looked perplexed, he signaled other people they came with a stretcher and moved us into another room that was dimly lit, there we were, they brought some other gadgets different from the ones we've seen initially, these gadgets emitted rays that varied in colours these rays pierced into my skin, I could feel the sensation on my body, I could also see the other victim (the sales lady) pass through the same thing I was going through were she lay beside my bed on the other wing. The doctors left and returned after what seemed like ages with confusion on their faces, none of them wanting to say anything to us knowing fully well how eager we were to know our fate, finally the head doctor, I presumed who after receiving much courage and advise from his team members summoned courage and spoke "ladies we are sorry, knowing how eager you are to ascertain your fate"

at this point I thought we were apprehended falsely and are finally going to be freed, I thought about what to do to these men if everything turned out to be that we were not carriers of EBOLA, me particularly, deep in thought the doctor cut in abruptly "we tried everything possible but at this point our machine which was to be used for the third stage of the test of 13 stages has developed fault, so we need to transfer your blood sample to the U.S for testing as this is the only hospital that has the equipment to treat the epidemic in this country for now, this implies that instead of you spending 6 days here as usual, you are likely to be spending 3-4 weeks thank you" he summarized, in my mind I cursed this country called Nigeria, can anything ever be good in this country save corruption? everyday people loot money here and there yet they (the government) cannot afford to install an important gadget as the one needed for EBOLA treatment in this only hospital that treats EBOLA indeed as they said. Mtcheeeeeeeeeeeeeeewww I hissed.

"Excuse me sir" I called on the head doctor as they made to leave,

"yes, can I help you?"

"Sir you said it's going to take almost a month for the result to come from Where you are sending it to?" I said more like a question

"Yes!"

"Release us to go, then when the result returns you call on us to come for it"

"Madam that is against our ethics, moreover the disease you are suspected of is a deadly one, we can't let you go and distribute it to other vulnerable innocent citizens"

my legs were getting weary I stood waiting for the testifier to finish, the pastor was afraid to come and warn the testifier or even interrupt her as the custom is, she was left to speak unrestrained, church members too were listening with keen interest forgetting that time was against, from all indication they cared less about the time, they want to get to the tail end of the story.

Sister Rose continued her tale telling.

"I slumped...

Lol, nice one.

I think you use comma's a lotm some places I expeced full stop where replced with comma. Work on that, I remember talking about this in ur first story I read.

Now, avoid making your side talks too long. Keep them as precised as possible in order not to bore or distract your readers, eg, when u were talking about chelsea and man u game or when you were talking about christ embassy.

Ok, can't wait to read the next update. Good one.

CONTINUATION

...and fell unconscious, I woke up hours later and saw myself on drip, I jerked, what are the drips for? I wondered: in no time I remembered I slumped earlier.

What are you saying Mr. man, I am telling you that my daughter has been missing for about 4 days now, all you could tell me is to pay you to go look for her. What is your work? Why must I pay before you discharge your civil duties?

In fact, why am I wasting time with you here.

...Doooom doooom, doooom doooom... (phone ringing) 'Hello, am I onto the police I.G? Good day sir, we are all fine! your officers...'

'Madam it has not gotten to this' the police is your friend: inspector Andrew interrupted.

'...your boys here are getting on my nerves, my daughter has been missing for over 4 days today, I came to lodge complaint only for them to demand for so much money from me...

It's Rumuomasi police station, Okay sir, Thanks a lot.
Nonsense! I will deal with all of you.'

The D.P.O of that division was later transferred to Gombe state and inspector Andrew suspended for four months without salary afterwards transferred to Katcha local government area in Niger state.

....(background music playing: dirge) people trooped to the cemetery, some crying, some sobbing while some were just watching. Some men in suite (undertaker's) were carrying a casket to the grave side.
After sermon the dead was about to be interred, the undertaker's had lifted the casket to lay it into the grave... Then I woke.

'What could be the meaning of this dream' I asked myself

'Does it mean I will die? God forbid'

As I was thinking, a doctor came to serve us food.

'Doctor please let me go my parents would be looking for me, they don't know I am here.'

'Don't worry about them, that issue has been handled, the government has sent them messages' the doctor replied me.

We ate, watched news on the television and slept since that was the only occupation we had to do.

Dr. Owel had reached the airport and had been cleared his luggage had passed the test and had been moved to the ramp agent who would load it in the planes cabin.
'What's this?' The airport security quarried Dr. Owel, he had been the doctor on the mission to the U.S to go test the blood of the patients.

'You can't get into this flight with this blood sample' the security agent narrated.

'Why can't I get into the plane with it? Is it a bomb?' The doctor replied.

The both party argued to the point that the security agent struggled to collect the luggage from the doctor, suddenly the container's cover flipped open as the doctor flung his hand profusely, the blood content sprinkled on over 30 persons standing on the line waiting to board the airplane.

I have no problem with the story but the part in bold. What's with the self-criticsm. That's a very wrong thing to say as a writer. Switch to Hausa or Yoruba Language or any other language you are more inclined towards then because you have no business writing in English Language. If you're going to get criticsm don't start by yourself, let your readers do it.
