JOB DETAILS

ACCOUNTANT[/b]

[b]REF NO: [/b]HR/AF-0002; [b]LOCATION: Lagos.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY

He/She will:

*Oversee financial accounting functions, compliance reporting,
annual budget preparation, systems development, regulatory
and governmental reports with respect to accurate statement of
the School's financial position as may be required.

*Prepare management reports, manage book keeping and
payroll functions, financial income and expenditure, including
running costs, staff expenses, administrative costs, VAT, levies,
taxation and ensure monthly statutory remittances such as
pensions, VAT, Payee are made.

*Maintain all official accounting books and records in
conformance with accepted accounting principles, provides
documents for audits.

*Liaise with auditors and provide relevant documents during
audit periods.

*Manage the Stock activities.

*Raising of cheques/vouchers invoices, requisitions and other
documents for vendors.

*Proactively give professional advice towards improving
school finance and achieving overall goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Accounts Manager: B.Sc/HND Accounting. Minimum of 2 cognate years of working experience in the education sector.
