If you are to peep at people's playlists, you may conclude that most Nigerian musicians of this generation sing for the illiterate and young-shall-grows. According to most Nigerian literate readers, nothing inspires or pleases them in most of the nowadays Nigerian music. With only observation, a conclusion was drawn that the illiterate Nigerian celebrities are often found in the music and football industries. But, unlike musicians, football players are not barking to expose their rate of illiteracy to the whole world.

Asking whether one must do something worth to be a celebrity in Naija, most political analysts emphasized that those with godfathers will go. That is, if you have a godfather who signed you in, whatever you sing is right. As the result up to now, Nigerian literate class need more of American music genre like jazz, blues and hipop to listen to.

The questions that remain unanswered is 'When will most of Nigerian musicians know that music is not only about having the right instrument?' And 'Why is it that most successful African people are those that live or are living with whites?' It is noted that most African people don't bother to be perfect in whatever they are doing due to lack of focuss, unrelivant jealousy and other bad qualities of illiteracy. Forinstance, most literate Nigerians who sing most reasonable songs base in Europe or America.

Indeed, it is a duty of media to promote and encourage the production of reasonable or international acclaimed music in the country. But some entertainment media like Silverbird still promote some Nigerian musicians despite their inability to render quality products.
