therefore, m/2+m+(m+5)=100yrs

so Gir's age will be x/2

and Father's age will be (x + 5 )

add up everything and equate it to 100

we have,

(x/2) + x + (x+5) = 100

multiply through by 2 to remove the fraction

we have

x + 2x + 2x + 10 = 200

collect like terms
5x + 10 = 200
5x = 190

x = 190/5

x=38 which is for Mother

there half of 38 which is 19 is for daughter's age

and x +5 =Father's age
38+5 =43
43 is Father's age
