The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin,Prof AbduGaniyu Ambali says all students would be screened of Ebola virus disease before entering the campus.Ambali stated this on monday while unveiling preventive kits worth N1.2million at the University's health centre.''The procurement of anti- Ebola kits is a sign of the university's preparedness to tackle the epidemics headlong''the Vice chancellor said.The kit he said include face mask,hand gloves,boots,automatic air dispensers,infrared Thermometer,and disposable bed spreads.The Vice Chancellor commended members of the institution's response committee for the foresight and prompt response.Ambali, however charged the university's health workers to be alert and follow lead down procedures in case of an outbreak.The University's Director of health services, Dr.Mary Ajiboye,who present the equipment to the Vice-chancellor said the kits were to protect both staffs and students.''The committee would place hand sanitisers in strategic location on campus such as the senate building,walkways,faculties,and Unilorin FM station,she said...
