Hi all,

I have a question for undergraduate students of unilag who are students of faculty of pharmacy or have some knowledge about the faculty.

when a pharmacy student fails a course, does he repeat the entire year as obtainable in many other pharmacy schools across Nigeria or does the said student carry the course over to the next level and sit for it when he desires?

thanks.

No o. I'm a pharmacy student at uniuyo, akwa ibom.

just wanted to know how other pharmacy schools operate their own system cause down here when you fail a course in 100l you repeat 100l. from 200l when you fail less than four courses you resit them before the next session resumes and if you fail any of them you are resitting, you repeat the entire level and all courses. fail again and you leave pharmacy.

just curious to know if other top pharmacy schools follow similar system.

Thanks.

Hmmm, despite being a unilag student, I can only speak of how it's done I. UI.
in University of Ibadan. Once u fail a chemistry course in 100 level especially chem 157. you are sent out of the faculty, even if u have 7 points in all other courses, because I think pharmacy has a lot to do with chemistry a lot. No repeat of sort.

just for faculty of pharmacy.

In college of medicine if you fail a course you leave medicine. no resitting, no repeating, no carry over.

Other faculties do allow carry over.
