EBOLA HEALTHCARE WORKERS ASSASSINATED IN GUINEA
Hacked to Death with Machetes. Guinean Govt Tried to Cover-up
--Attorney Patryk Utulu.

Mutilated bodies of 8 healthcare workers, local officials and journalists were found stuffed in a village school latrine near Nzerekore city, Guinea. There were various signs on the dead bodies showing (and confirmed by a village chief) that they were hacked to death by villagers using machetes, nail-spiked sticks and, bows and arrows.

Emerging reports indicate Guinean Government officials knew the workers had been killed. Yet officials claimed the workers were merely kidnapped or missing.

Guinean Health Minister, Remy Lamah, publicly announced that he was leading a government delegation to the village but then turned back and returned to the capital, Conakry after about 3 hours. He later claimed bad roads and a blocked bridge hampered him from reaching the village. Guinean radio broadcasters mocked the claim. They said the minister was afraid of the villagers' "juju" and of Ebola.

Government Spokesman Albert Camara said the health workers "were killed in cold blood by villagers." Six villagers were arrested and the village is completely deserted as the rest of the villagers escaped to the nearby forests. Guinea has highest rate of Ebola infections. Guineans are also the most superstitious West Africans. Even religious Guineans are known to visit "juju" herbalists before or after visiting places of worship. "Juju" herbalists see health workers as business rivals. Herbalist convince villagers that health workers spread Ebola. Religious leaders also tell people they can cure Ebola or that Ebola does not even exist.

2,622 people have been killed by Ebola so far

Nigeria is almost totally Ebola-free but is still at risks from other Ecowas nations
