One in ten GPs earns more than the Prime Minister, official figures show. Despite efforts to rein in the pay of family doctors, many still receive vastly more than David Cameron’s annual salary of £142,500. A total of 3,430 general practitioners earned more than £150,000 in 2012/13 – 10.5 per cent of self-employed GPs – according to the figures, published yesterday by the Government’s Health and Social Care Information Centre.
