Frank Lampard’s current situation is a weird one, so there’s certainly nothing wrong or all that bad about what he said in the below interview, but it is a bit funny. After 13 years at Chelsea, Lampard is signed to stillborn MLS franchise New York City, who don’t actuallly start life until February 2015; in the meantime, he’s taken a loan move to Man City to keep fit and fresh. He’ll only be at City for 4/5 months, so it’s only natural that he feels like a bit of a Nowhere Man at the moment, and not wholly attached to life at City. He accidentally let the cat out of the bag in one of his several post-match interviews, saying of current club City: ‘They deserved a draw, when they went down to 10 men they pushed on.’ 1 Like 1 Share
