In recent weeks the internet and social media has been flooded with illicit nude pictures of Celebrities ranging from actresses, artists and some just popular people like Kim Kardashian, in one of the most widely hacking spree referred to by media outlets as “The fappening” or “Celebgate”.

Reports reaching FNN states that the FBI and private investigators are closing down on the hackers responsible for this act, which is believed to be as a result of hacking into leading Tech company, Apple’s iCloud service.

The hackers in a bid to shift blame has disclosed that they were paid by Apple’s rival tech company Samsung, to hack into the icloud, retrieve and share such pictures to discredit the security of Apple iOs devices by infringing on their customers privacy.

The hackers, who posted more nudes today went further to inform the public through the same official channels, that the timing of leaking this nudes when Apple is launching their new iPhone 6, iPhone6 plus and unveiling of the iWatch wasn’t coincidental but a calculated attempt to reduce customer share and acceptability of those devices by gadget savvy users.

Although this is not the first time Apple and Samsung have had issues and lawsuits filed against each other, this might just open the floor for a full fledged war especially because it directly affects customers privacy and some celebrities are already threatening to sue Apple.
