But why?? Some people still say Naija Pop is still very poor, that our smiling-to-bank, cruising-in-luxury-Nigerian Pop Artistes are singing nonsense, I always laughed, because... see the almighty 2pac's Hit 'Em Up Intro
Intro:
I ain't got no motherf*cking friends
That's why I f*cked your bitch you fat motherfucker
West Side, Bad Boy killers
You know who the realest is
We bring it too
Take money, take money

Since this forth republic began, from 1999 till date, the only thing that has really changed/moved to greater height is 'NAIJA POP'.
Take it or "fiile"(leave it), Nigerian Pop Music is our democracy! We are always very excited listening and dancing to Naija Pop. At Owambes(party) you see them mamas and papas(weh no get tooth for mouth) deh dance seriously to Wizkid's Sexy Mama. And in clubs today, its majorly Nigerian pop all thru, because we got enough danceable dance-hall hit songs.

These guys you said they are singing nonsense, are getting not just local awards but international awards and nominations, did you hear Jhibo a guy who has never visited Asia before got award for his 'Far Away' in Malaysia? Up till today, our sport is seriously suffering including the sport men and women. Last Nigerian paralympic gold/silver medalists; na their family hire cab weh come carry them when them land for Muhritala Intl Airport. Nigerian football and NFA sorry NFF, lets not go there at all. As at the time of this writing one sport sector is lamenting and begging for sponsors.

But our Naija pop stars even deh take sponsors do shakarah grin, the case of 10m to 17m, between Glo and D'banj.

Behold! All around Africatoday, Nigerian Pop is still the most famous and the very best.

Thanks
