Re: OAU 2014/2015 FRESHERS (newly Admitted Students) Meet Here by Leitner: 11:55am On Oct 18, 2014 |
Thanks guyz, feeling better. Okay,so here is the story . Don't have that much energy to type. So,it will be in the shortest way possible. This is Leitner's story,a Life of Jamb and post Jamb So,Growing up,won't lie: I never really had any profession in mind. Just knew I definitely preferred science to arts and others. This was how I was even till I took my first UTME. Like all Other "fresh secondary school graduate" in Nigeria,I chose Med as my course of choice. Before I progress, one thing you should know about Leitner is that, brilliant wise; I think I'm decent, but at the same time,Leitner is lazier than the guy that drew the Japanese flag! Could still remember my first UTME,your guy didn't read/prepare @ all for the exam.It was a day to the exam that I was doing one 10hr,non-stop marathon Reading. Due to the fact that you are still in school na and one still probably has a lot of "residual Knowledge",I Still manage get 220+. After scaling through UME with my Yeye tactics,I come think say e go work for OAU PUME. For where?!, OAU 'Jamb' me back . The next year: the year Dibu started his CBT/PPT craze, did UME again. And even though, compared to the previous year,I prepared for the exam relatively well,I still got a lower score. Did OAU Pume and got admitted for a course in Faculty of Sciences. -------That is the end of the Part 1 of the story of Leitner ----- Part 2 (The main Tory ) It was part 1,second semester when one day,I was sat at BOOB(stop having funny ideas,it's a name of a Lecture hall ),thinking, and I asked myself,is this(my course),really what I wanted to do?. I think I answered myself: No. And the next couple weeks(or months sef) to follow,Leitner would do one of the things, till date,he is most proud of . Next couple of weeks to follow, out of my PM,I saved up some money and Got a Jamb form. And after that,I saved up some money to buy some textbooks and past questions. I can still remember,it was during NUGA. We were told to vacate the halls during that time, but I stayed back bcoz MANmustJACK ! . No break for me and even though I stayed back,I didn't really enjoy the NUGA experience. The road to exam date is another story for another Day but the major talking point was that, a Couple days to exam day,I was sick and also my exam dates(for the course I'm doing) were super close to my UME's exam date and @ the end,had to sacrifice the former for the latter I.e I decided to focus all My Energy and prep on the UME. We thank God sha,my efforts were rewarded. And even though,I expected more,my result was till decent. Not until after result came out did I tell my parent that I wrote Jamb. Infact,no single soul close to me knew, not my best friend, not my room mates(I'm currently feeling like a baddass spy ). And after that,we did Post Jamb and thank God we are here. Why I chose MRH? . I Have always loved Biology and OAU. So that means,I have MED,Nursing,MRH,Dentistry, pharmacy to choose. Don't like Med for personal reason,Pharmacy: I hate chemistry,Nursing: Don't like it,don't hate it. So I was left with MRH and dentistry and I chose MRH . ---------End of Super story. ---------- choi, hand don dey pain me o! |
