Greetings to all nairalanders in the house. A special greeting to all the programmers of the house. I salute you all. I’ve always dreamed of an android application for Nairaland and I ‘ve not been impressed at all by the ones available as they are all still browsers. Knowing fully well the “impossiblity” of building a custom app for Nairaland without the access to the database, I thought of another way out, which I got. The work has started and the app is available for use now but with rooms for improvement. By this I don’t mean to say the app is not functioning but I have a set of objectives the app will perform and I’m taking them one after another. I have decided to release this while I complete the job. Forget it, this is not like the other apps you have seen. It’s my longing for a NL app and my dissatisfaction with the published ones(no offence intended )that gave birth to this. Check it out now. To be available on google play soon. NL programmers! Looking at your App, I don't have any slightest idea on how you created this, is it a WebApp? Native App? How did you develop your API from NL? |

It's a native app. I didn't use any API for NL |

@phatjoe50. I understand you to mean the UI of the app is bad. I'm surprised somebody is saying this because even the screenshots are appealing enough The crashing was a last minuite error that escaped my testing. Thanks for noticing that @nairalanders expect better later |
