Star The Winner is is a show featuring contestants singing various songs in duels. Hosted by Uti Nwachkwu each duel after singing are voted for by a jury 101 persons to determine the winner. Whoever has the higher vote wins the duel and moves to the next round. After the votes are cast the results are shown in alternating forms to keep everyone guessing who the winner of the duel actually is. In order to know how confident the contestants are, they are asked to hit the buzzer and collect the money on display if unsure. Whoever collects the money has lost the duel even if result later show that he/she was actually voted the winner.

The Grand finale was shown today and one contestant named Michael won by way of the other contestant 'Job' collecting the money (N2 million) even though result later showed that he won the duel. When Job realized that the jury actually voted him as the winner, he was inconsolable. How could he have thrown away all that?!

Michael therefore won the N10 million at stake, including a brand new car and a recording deal.
