I know Federal schools are allowed to admit 100 student for first year Med student. From what you said earlier - DE student would be admitted as first year student. the number of student they admit in 100l does not in any way affects relatively the DE student to be admitted. BTW Med exams are always in batches I think as at then, Don't know about now.

The quota is very important in medical school.That is why the best thing for a school is to admit less than the quota so as to give room for d.e students.
