Leadership is different frm inordinate ambition, inordinate ambition denotes canvassing for promotion with the motive of being seen and approved of by men.. . Thats popularity contest,to stand amidst contemporaries and to exercise control over them.. it is perilous to put an ambitious man in office.. . Dey enjoy the power that money or authority it gives, they lobby for promotion and are carnally minded. Leaders are people willing to suffer for the sake of objectives great enough to demand their wholehearted obedience.. . A leader should b authoritative, spiritual and sacrificial.. . one that count all things has loss against his org not seekin great things for himself. Effective leadership 1.principle of dependence. - surrender his independent attitude. 2.principle of approval. 3.principle of modesty - must not be too strident and flamboyant but modent and unassuming. 4.principle of empathy -sympathetic and understanding with weak and erring 5.principle of optimism -requires hope and optimism. A pessimist cant make an inspiring leader 6.principle of anointing - requires the touch of supernatural(holyghost and power) |
