START CONFRONTING RELIGIOUS EXTREMISTS
Religious Thugs Are Terrorists, Rapists & Kidnappers
--Attorney Patryk Utulu

Religious extremism has always been Nigeria's cancer. We knew about the tumor all along but, for peace and unity, pretended it wasn't there. Now, we have neither peace nor unity. In a Federal Constitutional Republic religion is subordinate to the Federal Constitution. Yet we pampered religion so much extremists became our masters while we pretend to "maintain" our dignity.

Now, religious extremism drowns Nigeria faster than dead whales sink to bottom of the ocean. TO SAVE OUR NATION WE MUST START CONFRONTING RELIGIOUS FANATICS AND THOSE WHO benefit from their rage tactic and intimidatory pretend-insanity. IT IS A DEATH WARRANT TO SING LULLABY TO VICIOUS SNAKES . We must aggressively confront them politically, in the streets and in all forms of media. EDUCATED NIGERIANS have this cowardly NOTION OF DIGNITY. When illiterate thugs invade your homes, dominate your streets and hijack your way of life you do NOT walk away and tell yourself you are "maintaining" your dignity. Where is the dignity in letting those who barely can use the Internet spin propaganda that Boko Haram's Shekau is alive when we all know he is rotting in a grave that I know but won't say. What is the dignity in letting religious thugs tell our women how to dress or when they can talk and what topics we can or cannot discuss in a Constitutional Republic?

Since independence educated Nigerians from North and South allowed illiterate villagers and unwashed socially ignorant Nigerians to dictate to the rest of the nation. These religious extremists rage and foam in the mouth at the slightest notion of criticism. They take offense at everything. They hate education but use the Internet that it created. They rage about nonexistent insults to their women even as they treat those women worse than slaves. They enjoy the freedoms of modernity but insist that we must remain slaves to primitive rules. They execute victims without trial but beg for lawyers when they are arrested. They ASK your opinion and hate you for providing facts that contradict their untested assumptions.

Yearly they become bolder until our Constitution can no longer protect Nigerians in all parts of Nigeria. During this shameful transformation highly educated and usually opinionated Nigerians stayed silent. We console ourselves by saying that it is not dignifying to engage in CONFRONTATION with religious lunatics. What "dignity" do you protect when every global news of your nation involves religious terrorism, religious extremism, religious kidnapping and religiously-sanctioned rape of little girls? When did it become OK for patriots to tremble while nonentities dominate Nigerian Public Opinion Square and tell us what topics we can or cannot discuss? Evil multiplies when patriots become cowards

Nigeria is dying and religion is killing us faster than official thievery!!.

Nigerians must choose to LIVE FREE or DIE under Religious Tyranny!!
