Rest before your test, and if
You don't win, it's okay. It doesn't
Matter as much as we sometimes
Think. That is pride and hubris

Driving our need to win. The goal
Might better be to know we'll survive
The worst, should we lose. But to
Also do our very best, and be grateful

If we win. To know that your Worth
Is not measured by the notches of
Wins on your belt, but rather how
You lived. The true reward, and

Trophy of sorts (if you desire one)
Is found in the heart. How you may
Have helped another in their struggle.
And how graciously you accepted

Someone's help in your own need.
Winning is more tan a trophy of
Any kind. Winning is knowing who
And what you truly are, testing your

Own boundaries, and then somehow
Going beyond them. No so much the
Human self, but of the Soul.
