HOW TO DEFEAT RELIGIOUS EXTREMISTS
(Don't Compromise. Confront and Block Them)
--Attorney Patryk Utulu

Here is a proven universal truth: Religious extremists are insecure bullies. All bullies are cowards who would never stop hurting victims unless confronted.

There is a method to religious extremism. Pretend-madness is the method. The formula is brilliantly simple: act crazy, rage and constantly accuse society of all sorts of conspiracy against you and your religion. Insist that peace is possible if society would just grant you EXCLUSIVE use of inches of general Public Space. Then, as soon as society grants those inches you feign outrage, foam-in-the-mouth and make new demands for YARDS and miles of more Public Space.

And on and on and endlessly on.....

How do we compromise with those who offers us slavery or death?

Nigerians must take a stand now or become mini Pakistan/Yemen/Afghanistan. Christianity, Islam and Traditional beliefs are our religions. ALL RELIGIONS ARE EQUAL IN NIGERIA. ALL RELIGIONS ARE SUBORDINATE TO OUR FEDERAL CONSTITUTION.That is the fundamental law of Nigeria. It does NOT matter what you wish or think or believe or heard from your religious leader. Religion is NOT above our Constitution. So, Nigerians must confront religious extremists whose aim is to use pretend-insanity to make us a one-religion nation

HOW?

(1): CITIZEN CHALLENGE: Citizens (Government, religious leaders, civilians, military) must confront them in the streets, in the battlefields, in churches and mosques and in political arena. Religion must be made to respect the law.
(2): ONLINE ATTACK: block extremists from your forums and confront their apologists who always come up with saintly reasons why we should tolerate evil. Force them back to their conspiracy forums/chat rooms where they use irrefutable evidence of modernity (cell phones, Internet, text messages, Skype, etc,) to lie to themselves that they neither see nor recognize modernity.
(3): M.A.D. (Mutually Assured Destruction): Insanity respects insanity. Have you ever seen a madman attacking another madman? Rarely, if ever! MAD is the proven theory that both sides to a conflict act more reasonably if both sides know they will inevitably be destroyed in the conflict. Religious extremists are evil but not stupid. They are bullies and cowards. Bullies stop only when you stand up to them. [Already, many hate preachers in the U.K. have softened their tones now that the U.K. has put in place effective laws to quickly deport them back to their homelands]. Never again should Nigerians compromise on the fundamental law that as long as it exist, Nigeria is and always will be a multi-religious nation.

(Nigeria's) Borno was already a center of learning before the microscope was invented (500 years ago), before bacteria was discovered (338 years ago) and long before Nigeria was founded (100 years ago). Borno had one of the oldest, richest and best preserved collections of cultural artifacts in West Africa before religious extremists and Boko Haramites started the terror bombing campaign targeting public infrastructure and physical signatures of Borno cultural heritage.

Even for a nation that lies to itself can we ever FORGET that the original SOLE demand of the terrorist bombers was for a separate religious nation?
