They are not recruiting able bodied men as posted on it website.If you dont have money to bribe your way,you will just be spending money every year to apply without success.After i have tried the nigerian airforce several times without success,i decided to apply for army last year,we did our exams at 11pm midnight in darkness.Many candidates lost their educational credentials to the rain because they warn us not to take any belongings inside the hall.some candidates who kept their phones in their bags didnt find it.After result came out only 10% out of 100 were successful despite the simple aptitude test.Some candidates starting bribing 150k for their names to be enlisted in the qualify list.The experience is frustrating.

The Nigerian Navy wishes to inform the general public and all interested candidates that the online registration will commence on 27 Oct - 30 Nov, 2014.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
1. Apply online at the recruitment portal www.joinnigeriannavy.com using a recruitment e-voucher purchased with a bank card issued by any Nigerian bank or voucher purchased from any branch of Union Bank or Unity Bank nationwide at the sum of N1,000 only.

2. Log on to the above mentioned link using the serial number of the voucher as username and the pin numbers as password.

3. Complete the application form, submit online and print a copy each.

4. Come along with copies of the completed online forms to the designated examination and recruitment centres.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Possess a minimum of 5 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB (English and Maths inclusive)

2. Be between 18-22 years while 24 years is the accepted limit for those with OND, NCE, Nurses, etc. Candidates with higher qualification than the once specified should not apply.

3. Must be single and Nigerian by birth

4. Height of 1.7m for male and 1.67m for female

NOTE:
1. The recruitment exercise will commence with an aptitude test and screening the certificates of candidates at designated centres from 8-12 Dec, 2014.

I SWEAR TO GOD THAT ITS GENUINE, NAVY STARTED USING THE SITE LAST YEAR, I APPLIED FOR DSS LAST YEAR AND I WAS SHORTLISTED THROUGH THIS SITE, THOUGH I DIDN'T MAKE THE FINAL LIST. I HAVE HEARD ABOUT THE RECRUITMENT FOR MORE THAN A MONTH NOW. ITS ENTIRELY GENUINE.

The information give above are correct, and its not a scam, so chill...am a navy personal so I can tell...its a choice to join the navy, its also a choice to pay 1k for the e- voucher. Beside you are buying a voucher, not paying any money into any account, its funny when people comment and say its a scam, would banks sell e-vouchers for scammers? smh.
