Despite contracting Ebola in Sierra Leone, British nurse, William Pooley is excited to be back in the disease-ravaged country.
Pooley got infected while working with patients and was flown back to the UK to receive treatment at London’s Royal Free Hospital.
He said that there is a “real emergency” in Sierra Leone and that he is “delighted” to be back on the front line, BBC reports.
The nurse had expressed his desire to return to work ever since he recovered and was only waiting to get a new passport to enable him travel as his last one was burnt after he tested positive to the disease.
