Job Title: Business Development Executive

Job Description

Our client, a top ticketing, travels and tours company based in Lagos is recruiting for a business development executive.Applications are hereby required from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position of business development executive.
The Business development executive will provide high-quality direction and aggressively lead, generate, maintain and drive the sales activities of the organization with a view of improving the bottomline


Profile
• Ability to generate, maintain and close new leads
• Ability to be able to initiate high level sales meetings within the corporate and government agencies
• High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools- Ms. Excel, Ms Word, Powerpoint.
• Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
• At least 2 years relevant experience in a corporate travel company.
• BSc degree or HND in any discipline (Minimum of Second Class lower or Lower Credit Grade)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse people and culture.
Experience in Travel/tourism industry & hospitality


Key responsibilities
• Performs sales activities on major accounts
• Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams per account.
• Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s solutions.
• listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale;
• maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
• cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;
• responding to incoming email and phone enquiries;
• acting as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets;
• negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;
• gathering industry and customer information
• Report marketing and business development forecast
• Lead presentation teams and make presentations to clients
