Experts from the Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN) yesterday said the deaths recorded during the recent Ebola outbreak in the country was due to the lack of partnership between medical doctors and veterinarians in the country.

A veterinarian, Prof. Debo Ogungbade of the Health Services: Health and Human Behaviours, pointed out that no animal expert lost his life to the Ebola outbreak.

Funny, I don't get the connection between vet and ebola death. How will animal experts lose their lives during ebola outbreak when no naija animal contracted ebola? SMH.

Too bad they don't have the light in this case. Nothing stops them from identifying and treating animals infected with the ebola virus though.
