I have an issue with my Honda Accord 2007 LX. I washed the engine at a car wash two (2) Sundays ago Upon driving back home. I noticed i cant speed above 3000 RPM... The gear changes from 1 - 2 - 3 smoothly but when the RPM reaches 3000.. its jerks and drops to 2000.. At cold start when i raise the engine it can get to 5000 RPM.. but while driving it doesnt go above 3000 RPM

Any possible solution?

You should have your check engine light on. I had some problems not exceeding 3000 rpm in my camry scanned it was the knock sensor, the wires connecting to it lost contact was just cleaned and plugged well and voila I was flying all over the place again.

Go scan your car first and come back with fault codes given to you

exact thing happend to my accord 2005 , have the mechanic check the kick sensor near the passenger's tyre.
