DobleO7: The country is upside down. More poverty and sufferness in the country. The government that is totally incapable of improving electricity. Infact his party should rather field a serious minded person as their presidential candidate. |

Hello, First of all, I would like to clarify some information as a presenter of a local cube sugar manufacturing company. StLouis Sugar Cubes are made in France and imported to African countries for more than 42 years. StLouis is a French company which was not long time ago bought by a German sugar giant; Sudzucker. These companies does not have any manufacturing facilities in Nigeria and their products are still imported and sold by their national distributor in Nigeria. During all this time, StLouis didn't change its design and cube size like it was done in Europe long time ago. Sugar ban in retail packages is a part of Sugar Master Plan and was supposed to be applied since January, 2013. This ban is encouraging manufacturers of sugar to come and invest in Nigeria rather than exporting their products while enjoying Nigeria as a market without creating any benefits for Nigerian society and economy. Today, buying imported sugar products, we're supporting the agriculture sector, economy and society of another Nation rather than Nigeria where our people are seeking for job. If you would like to support local manufacturers of cube sugar, today there are 3 companies including our own: 1. Dogan's Sugar Limited - TM Dogan's Sugar Cubes (our company): Located in Lagos, established in 2013 and started commercial production in February 2014. As a manufacturing company, we have an installed capacity of production of 90,000 cartons of cube sugar per month in our factory (4.5 Millions packs or 2,182,500 kg) which is %80 of all cube sugar consumption of Nigeria per month. To get more information, you can visit our Facebook page: http://www.fb.com/dogansnigeria or our web page: http://www.dogans.ng 2. McNichols Consolidated Plc - TM Family Sugar Web Site: http://www.mcnicholsplc.com/products/sugars/ 3. Golden Sugar Company - TM Golden Penny Sugar Web Site: http://www.fmnplc.com/goldensugar/ Currently, only these three companies are producing cube sugar locally. Please support local manufacturers to support our society and economy. It is obvious that when the local manufacturing sector will be developed, unemployment will be decreased, education level will be increased, society will be more happy and peaceful. By God's Grace and nation support, Nigeria will become an exporting country rather than importing. Thank you very much, Tunde. 2 Likes
