That's not a dead man so it's not a graphic pic. Apparently he was knocked down by hit and run car at 10pm yesterday Friday October 31st. The person who took the photo said for two hours, the man was breathing, that they called 767 and 112, but all they got was that emergency response were on their way. But he said until he left the scene around midnight, the emergency response team hadn't shown up, and there was no traffic at this time as the road was free.



So, we need to know; does emergency response work in Lagos? Why does it take them forever to get to the scene of an accident? The relevant authorities need to look into this biko...

I remeber sometyms lst year, a house was guted by fire,while efforts were made 2 quench it, they called d fire fighters, bt wat happened they arrived d scene of the incident abt 2hours after d fire has been quencehed, on sighting them with their big 4 nothing vehicle d boys of d street out anger pursued them with stones and sticks, if nt 4 d intervention of some elderly men who asked d fire men why it took them this lng 2 arrive, the driver said it was due 2 shortage of fuel at their disposal, they said d govt are 2 blame 4 lack of fund nd welfare, bla bla bla...

Why can't they just take him to the nearest hospital so that he can at lease receive first aid treatment, rather than dial a number and wait for ages for response.

I wonder, my brother! That one was more interested in taking picture than using his initiative. He isn't even ashamed to say he waited 2hrs for an agency that never came. Plus he confirms the road wasn't busy. So, what exactly made him and others not improvise and get the victim treated?
