Anyone been invited to attend this summit recently that's organized by Global Career Company?

I got an invitation in the email for the upcoming summit in New York next week but they don't have any interview lined up for me. It's just a general invitation to come to the summit and hope you can line up an interview when you get there.

I was under the impression that when they extend an invitation to you, that means specific companies have requested to interview you, and not just hoping for one when you get there.

Anyone else got this invitation before without an interview and still went? I've been to similar recruitment summits before as just a general attendee and I just want to make sure it's worthwhile if you don't have anything lined up before you go.
