Lille boss, Rene Girard has poured cold water on reports that EPL teams Liverpool and Sunderland have made bids for Nigeria shot stopper Vincent Enyeama.

According to Girard, the only bids made for Enyeama so far has been in the pages of newspapers and nothing concrete is on the table.

"Vincent has a contract that doesn't terminate until 2017 and we have no intention of letting go one of our best players," he told Le Foot.

"The only bid we have receive for his services is the one I read from the papers, as Lille as a club we are yet to receive any bid from either Sunderland or Liverpool.

"Every player is available for a certain fee but Enyeama is not for sale, even if a bid comes in we will smartly turn it down."

Initial reports claimed Sunderland were planning an Eight Million Euros bid for Enyeama however inside sources in France claim Lille will only listen to offers starting from 10 Million.
