pls how do we tell/smell the difference between a male and a Female perfume

Most female perfumes have a very strong flowery smell but I can't tell male ones from smell alone.
If you're not sure check the packaging and bottle; most male perfurmes are marked "pour homme" which means "for men" in french. Another method is to ask friends for names of good male perfumes they know so instead of searching around aimlessly you can enter the shop with one already in mind.

Male perfumes usually come in blue or clear bottles, female comes in pink, red bottles. Male fragrances ate usually stronger scents with more musk and woody flavours vis-a-vis Cologne and Eau d' Parfum, female scents are soft and flowery scents - Eau d' toilette, light Eau d' Parfum etc
