Commonwealth and African sprints queen,
Blessing Okagbare will be at the starting blocks
today to begin a new chapter in her already
storied life as she ties the nuptial knot with her
boyfriend, footballer Igho Otegheri.
The starters’ gun is expected to go off at noon
today at No. 5 Adidi off Ikomi Road, Sapele
where the traditional wedding will hold.
Okagbare will then cross the line in first position
tomorrow when the ‘white wedding\ holds at St.
Patrick Catholic Church,107, Yoruba Road,
Sapele.
This will be succeded by the reception at the
Sapele Athletic Club. Sapele.
Expected to grace the ocassion is the Athletic
Federation of Nigeria president, Solomon Ogba
as well as the Governor of Delta state,
Emmanuel Uduaghan.
