Hausa And The Begging Culture by JohnEazy(m): 1:55pm On Nov 07, 2014 |
I grew up in lagos, stayed in ogun, visited onitcha,PH,calabar and akwa ibom. I can say authoritatively that it's very rare to see An ibo man, yoruba man, calabar man even edo man begging for arms on the highway/hold-up. 90% of beggars that have seen are northerners. Note:- they are not disabled(i.e they can hustle to make ends meet). So my question is that "Is begging part of their culture?or they jus enjoy the activity" |
