Payment method is no longer a challenge on online stores abroad. I have been using my GTBank Naira Mastercard on Amazon and Ebay with no issues. Heck, I even once used it once on porn site just to prove something and win a bet/argument. Like someone pointed out, all you need to do is to add ur card to your google wallet/paypal/amazon and use those pre-processors when you want to purchase stuff online. Talking about getting alerts on ur card when used locally is a fault with either the bank, local pre-processor or both. Interswitch has improved a lot lately with their verve cards though, I don't use it. Just make it a habit of never being an early adopter of any new tech for financial transactions and avoid shady sites and you'll be good to go.

I wish you good luck. Access bank hasn't been able to explain how my brother's account detail was used to pay for goods worth 7k online.

So, you prefer that some hackers hack whatsapp for you to enjoy it indefinitely rather than paying $1 for a year subscription which translates to 168 Naira for a year, 14 Naira a month, 3 Naira a week, 46 kobo a day. Is it more than what you spend on stuff you hardly ever use nor need? Is it up to how much u spend on airtime or beer? This is why we don't move forward as a people in this country. We are happy to pay for the epileptic services being rendered to us eg Telecoms, NEPA etc, but will rather look for a way out instead of paying for those services that we enjoy and have served us effectively.

Anyways, for others that wouldn't want to pay, why not seek out other better alternatives to whatsapp that are available like Telegram and Wiper?

Just like every average nigerian, am a hardy user of whatsapp...if not for the love of chatting, atleast it is free and effective! But I was shocked when I received a message on 7/11 to select my [b][/b]'PAYMENT MODE' and that my free usage expires in 5days( now 4).
