The Advocate for Transformational change announced today the annual speech competition for secondary schools students in Kwara State, Nigeria. The Advocate is a non governmental organization committed to tackling the social menaces and challenges encountered by the Nigerian youths and teens.

The junior league speech contest is part of the organization’s commitment to the[b] development and empowerment of teenagers and youths[/b] in bid to build a nation filled with responsive and responsible citizens. This year efforts are geared towards developing the skills of the Nigerian teenagers and youths to[b] speak powerfully and persuasively[/b] in front of an audience as well as learn to think critically, explore all sides of an issue, and evidence-based rock solid points of view.

This year’s edition of the contest is a two-day program featuring an educational talk-shop bringing some of the country’s finest young speakers to share their experience with fellow young adults; and the speech contest where students battle for the prestigious title of The Advocate of the year that comes with scholarships and lots of prizes. This epoch making event is scheduled to hold viz:

VENUE: Kwara State Arts and Culture Centre, Ilorin, Nigeria.
