Former Manchester United boss, David Moyes has been named the new manager of Spanish club, Real Sociedad.

The 51-year old, who parted ways with United on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, will replace Jagoba Arrasate, who was relieved of his duties by the Spanish side after a poor run of form which left the club in the relegation places for months.

The club made the announcement on their website late Monday, November 10, 2014, saying: ‘Real Sociedad have reached an agreement with David Moyes, ‘Details about the official presentation of Real Sociedad’s new coach and who will form part of his technical team will be unveiled soon’

The Scot, who is also a former longtime Everton coach, will take charge of his new team for the first time on Saturday, November 22, 2014, against Deportivo.
The Scot first become a coach in 1998 with Preston North End which he followed up by moving to Everton in 2002 before sealing the Manchester United job in 2013.
