World football governing body Fifa, has confirmed that the 2014 Club World Cup will go on in Morocco as planned.
Fifa stated on its twitter account that the tournament would take place in Morocco and that preparations continue as planned.
The annual competition features champion clubs of each continent which are Real Madrid(Europe), San Lorenzo(South America), Western Sydney Wanderers(Asia), Auckland City(Oceania), Cruz Azul (Concacaf) and Entete Seitif (Africa). It also includes Moghreb Athletic; the champion of the host Morocco.
Morocco had earlier been stripped of hosting the 2015 African Cup of Nations by CAF after their request for the postponement of the tourney citing the fear of Ebola Virus Disease was rejected and CAF expected to name a new host in 3days, Fifa has decided that the Club World Cup would go on in Morocco as earlier planned.NEWSNOWMAGAZINES..COM
