Family members of one Mr. Charles Amadin from Edo state and Ms. Oma Ada Usuogu from Okija in Anambra state are at logger head over marriage proposal by the duo.


Accordingly to a family member of the would be bride, Mr. Onu Usuogu in a protest carried out in Benin city told Journalists that giving the family tradition, their daughter being the first child (Ada) of the family will not be allowed to marriage Amadin because he is not a native of the town.

Consequently, they alleged that their daughter who was last seen since May 2nd, 2010 is believed to have been abducted by the said Amadin as the both now lives in an undisclosed location.
Soliciting members of the public to assist the family on the where-about of the said Charles Amadin, said: “by traditional, their daughter is not allowed to betroth in marriage to a non-native who is not from the same village with the maid.”

“We are deeply concerned that even as I speak with you, our daughter is nowhere to be found. But we are too well convinced that since 2010,she now lives with Amadin who has taken her far away from us with no reach by members of her family”, explained Mr. Usuogu.

They issued that the said Amadin is declared wanted by the family of the girl so as every modalities concerning the marriage be adhered to according to the dictate of the family tradition.

Contacted, family members of the said Charles Amadin had refuted claims by the maid’s family and are appealing that since the couples are truly in love, they should be allowed to get marriage and raised a happy family of their own.Newsnowmagazines..com
