Nigerian clubs are state owned and make no profits,except if they get involved in continental competitions and of sale of players to clubs in europe or egypt. Compared to the logistics of travelling and accommodation,the money they get from sponsors are meagre. As for the salaries of players,just look at the players more like civil servants that's why a club can clear out their entire squad in one season,'cause there's no contracts.,I know a player in sharks FC that gets N50k back in 2008. In summary Nigerian league is a joke |
