The 'Shoki' Crooner,Esegine Allen, the 28-year old Top Nigerian act, was on Thursday, November 13, 2014 driven out of the Redeemer's University's premises by the school management. The embarrassing incident which was against the students expectations saw them protesting about the management's decision.

According to Netng, the 'Shoki' crooner who is a Delta state descent was said to have been invited by Redeemer's University Student's Association for the 2014 Fresher's event tagged 'The Debut Night.
