How invaluable the value of a valuable is
The peak of the night is the source of the morning's gloat
Ornamental beauties have failed to buy peace
The shame of yesterday's evil is tomorrow's coat

Who payed the price for the joy we seek so dearly
The fiery dark cloud is lined by worthless silver
Ravishing in the depth of curses as we write our sorrow dairy
We are drained in the tomorrow we hope to deliver

Oh the people fear the writer has given us a song of sorrow
Fear not oh ye pure and rejoice in your deeds oh ye learned
This song is to him whose past is his greatest foe
Who will pay for the joy they so coveted

Time and seasons pass and we know we are not pure
Over and again we revel in thundering mistakes
The result of our actions make our rest unsure
The thought of another day only heightens the stakes

So who am I mortal to rule you out of the curse
Save salvation saves you from these thorns
Till then and after this song should be in your purse
Languish in darkness oh lost till you see the morn

Who has payed the price for the joy you seek so dearly?

I ask again.

Loved reading your poem, your punctuation is slightly off. Setting it right will make reading it a better experience. Kudos.
