Why do so many of the various Xtian faiths believe that they cannot question their God?

I'm very confused, but I think that is one of the things that confused away when I was young.
Does anyone know the premise behind this? ?

See, I always thought that without questioning, there is no learning and without learning, there is no growth. Why would a Divine Parent NOT want their mortal children to challenge their faith?

It seems to me that christians seem to fear their god. If you think about it: He was able to order around the Angel of Death to make doubters go dumb.

I guess what you just expressed is your opinion borne out of assumption because it is far from the truth.

I do question my God. I do.

However it's out of love.....When things don't seem to make sense to me, then I question Him.

God isn't just my God. He is also my Father.

Children once in a while question their fathers.

It doesn't take anything away from my faith in God's ability and omnipotence.
