Hi All

A friend of mine is about to purchase a vehicle. Toyota highlander 2008 model with custom clearing thru cotonou. After close review we discovered the Car was assessed at USD 5484 and duty paid was around 381k.

My friend feels that the Duty paid is low and fears running into trouble with Customs.

Can any1 advice on what to do?

go to d border to confirm the customs duty,if its okay

its possible because of the consideration that you had paid one fee to benin republic. There was a Toyota corolla 2005 that the money the agent I used paid into customs account was 98k or so apart from other fees I paid to him and I drove the car myself from idi- iroko to ota without any issue. 08062323700 OR 2BA89F8D.
