So na you dey train people on how to make those Poisonous substances.. grin

Mbok I no dey patronise these cheap ass things.. They destroy your properties faster than you know. Tiles lose their shine over time, the after smell from those air-freshners are worse than Pollute.. Its like Izal vs Dettol.. I go for Dettol. The brand name hand washes and fragrances are milder than these so called-locally manufactured things.

Those are the detergents they use in Government hospitals, Airports and co that make them smell so abominably.

But come to think of it o, nobody talks about job creation anymore. Yes we know its good, sometimes best to be self employed. But then this eneterprenureship stuff is almost taking the day when we know that there are supposed to be creation of jobs and then we are also encouraged to be enterprenures just incase we dont lay our hands on such jobs.

My brother, a bird at hand they say is worth more than a thousand in the air (bush). This doesn't necessarily stop anyone from looking beyond but while waiting for that white collar job it's good to have something doing in the interim, sometimes this even grows beyond your imagination or expectation, I'm a living witness to that.

And of course, there are general lectures on how to apply for a job and how to write a good CV, that goes to show that it's not just limited to being self employed alone.

Laughs! Then you don't know what you are missing. So you think those ones you buy from the supermarket are better off huh?

Let me tell you, our products are so less toxic and free from harmful chemicals. Tell me one product out there that you feel is better than ours and I will open your eyes to some hidden secrets. A lot of people are yet to understand the importance of what we are preaching.

Rubbish! The govt is just looking for an excuse for its failure, how can this country progress when you tell ur graduates to start making soap and d likes,a country that wants to be among the top 20 economies by 2020...For example, why would u tell an engineer to learn soap making when u av a dead technological sector, and what pains me d most is that so many graduates take them serious, they've really resigned to their fate...Smh

Basic Morning fresh comes to mind..

Pouring both of them into a container and just looking at them you can almost see the difference in quality..
The Fragrance used is also better in quality than what these local people used and above all it does not leave that Nasty after-smell that is so repulsive.

The Air freshners are so strong they are actually pungent. And they also have that nasty after smell..

Those detergents actually corrode tiles. Especially lower quality tiles.

Ooooopz! You've not been listening to news for a while I guess.

Well, I just returned from Osun State orientation camp (Ede) after the training and the corp members are leaving the camp today back to their various PPA.

O well, thank God you said the one produced by local people. We aint local Sire!

As a cosmetologist, we study every chemical used, we don't just add or mix chemicals together to get a product.

I bet if you use any of my products you'll keep coming for more.

Lol..

I have had experience with all these products.. Your Air Freshners, liquid detergents and what have you..

My parents bought them and I have seen them used in my office until it was banned because of the damage it was causing.

Those products require a whole lot more tweaking. That after smell and the way tiles and shiny surfaces lose their lustre over prolonged exposure to these products are things that give concerns.

Well, I haven't used any of Strongbest's products but I made liquid soap myself using the method he taught on the thread shown below.
https://www.nairaland.com/1798724/free-skill-acquisition-e-center

The liquid soap that resulted was mild and pleasant in its feel. As a long-term user of Morning Fresh and Mama Gold, I'm pleased to note that I preferred the feel of the soap that resulted from the use of Strongbest's method. It also does not dry out my skin like most other soaps and detergents.

So, my inference would be that provided Strongbest does not commercialise his liquid soap by cutting corners in production, his soap would stand at least shoulder-to-shoulder with better known brands (or even tower above the others - going by my experience).

Btw Strongbest, thanks for the thread referred to above! I didn't post a feedback so, I seized this opportunity. Keep up the good work.

Regards,

Cool

This time last year, I was in your shoes as I attended SAED in Kubwa camp Abuja.....Honestly, I never concentrated on what the man was saying coz' I was busy surveying all sizes of boobs and nyashhs as those beautiful babes kept exposing fresh laps freely, for I was at the 'facial make-up' section of the programme (mostly attended by ladies). I was fortunate to get a job immediately after service last month as an administrator. SAED is good but CONNECTION is far better. SAED without a starting capital for business is BULLSHIIT.....I repeat....BULLSHIIT!!

Talk to the 36 state governors and 774 LGA chairmen who should REGULARLY recruit, train & motivate (with good & duly paid wages) PROFESSIONAL staff for

- primary, VOCATIONAL, secondary & TECHNICAL schools
- Primary Health clinics and General hospitals
- MAINTENANCE of feeder roads and public spaces
- provision of TAP water

Who is going to create the job? Entrepreneurs create jobs.

You've not told us what the Osun SAED do/did in particular?
Is it that Osun is doing something other states are not doing?

Yes. Osun SAED, under the leadership of Mrs Ahile is doing what other states are not doing...

She is fostering a well-advised, well-informed and properly motivated community of empowered graduates (corpers) enabling them to acquire vocational/trade skills they can start up after camp on one end, and Ensuring that trainers are validated for the skills they claim to teach, and are not just quacks or individuals looking for corpers to reap off.

Both the corpers and the trainers have a sense of purpose and all leave with a sense of achievement.

While you might seem to have a point, I should ask you what else you expect them (corpers) to do, aside of embracing and learning the skills and create something (big or small for themselves?)... Carry placards? Continue queueing up for jobs, or come and beg at your doorstep.

If you do not have something better to give to man, don't collect what is in his hand!
