For Vivianc by Mynd44: 7:16pm On Nov 23, 2014 |
"Chestnuts roasting on an open flame Jack Frost nibbling at your nose" soon these songs will rent the air soon the supposed joyous jingles and promos rent the air the atmosphere dominated by eating and merry making and people scurrying around oblivious to something. This day a year ago, a star blew up, the night went even darker a sane voice in madness a ray of hope to her family a shoulder to her friends and a chance for a better future for her society then the reaper came and did his job. Took her he did more like stole her rob the world of her I remember how feisty she was how defended her views her strength obvious in her words her writing impeccable her note inspiring and arguments sound. Her junior ones looked to her and her aged parents trusted her so young yet was already called on as an elder a pillar of support during the Niger river floods her picture remains in my head and the emptiness in her house The sad quietness evident all around the hush whispers never had a private chat with her(my pride) but I respected her I thought her naive but still nodded at her she showed me strength the type that this world lacks yet she was snuffed out her mortality a lesson to me. the good ones go first and the spiteful ones live longest Rest in peace Vivian even the sky is dark in remembrance. RIP 13 Likes 6 Shares |

Its over a year already and I still remember her like its an hour ago. I really miss this awesome lady, I still remember how I always find a way to argue with her from thread to thread. I never thought the moment could curtain off so soon. My chauvinist online personality always try to depict her as a feminist which I know she isnt. I remember our fight, she never went out of the line, it was mondicheek and modella that return my fire with thunder. That feeling of trying to start a fight with someone and within 72 hours you hear she is gone still hunts me. Oh! Why do the good ones die young and the demonic live long. Her pictures of the 2011 flood and her nomination for Miss NL(with slimyem and others) sometimes in 2012 are still fresh in my mind. She was indeed an amazing person even If I never met her or had a personal chat with her. Rest In Peace Vivian Chinaza - vivianc Your soul is in our hearts. We love you, but God loves you the most. . . . Seun, Ishilove, Mynd44 and other mods should let her remembrance thread like glance frontpage so that bigots, tribalist, religious bigots, other prejudiced persons, Nairaland members and other warped people on here can know what life is... Yours may be tomorrow, whats your legacy |

Vivian, I searched you out just to read your diary again and came across this thread. I really do miss you. It been a year and seems just like yesterday we gisted. I still keep in touch with your brother and he so misses you. Life is of greater challenge to him and your parents, but he sure wil make them proud. With tears in my eyes, I say keep resting beautiful one. Till we meet to part no more. Love you so much. 3 Likes |
