Reschedule the wedding ke? I don't think that could be possible considering the distance and the hold-up during weekends in Lagos. Don't knw if the test could be rescheduled cha.

Eeya pele. I will advice you go for your wedding and forget about the text very important. Wedding is once in a life time while you can always go for as many test and interviews as possible.

This was my thought exactly.

If you are capeable of looking after a home I.e financially then this test shouldn't bother you unless you were planning for an upgrade from your current status.

Either way marriage ( by Gods grace) is once in a lifetime. Jobs promotions etc keep coming and going.

@op, except u are not sure of ur ability of passing aptitude test, but if u are please and please do not absent urself..the odds ain't as high as u think bro, about 600 people got offers from Nnpc during their last recruitment exercise and believe me when i tell you that chances of one landing an oil and gas job in this country is minimal. so please consider the long term monetary benefits you and family(both nuclear and extended)could derive if u eventually land this job. The juice is worth to squeeze bro..i believe if u bend ur schedule a little bit, u culd attend both.NB: if u are not sure of ur ability pls ignore..

After all a bride wrote d 2010 recruitment test in her wedding gown.
From experience the tests usually commence late bc of d large crowd to b accredited. U can start by visiting d officiating minister days before d wedding to explain things and requesting him to speed up d church process. And u could have an informant from d test venue. Midway into d reception u jst zap go attend to ur test. Just explain to some few family and friends . NB: tell d MC also make him no go dey shout ur name dey look for u.

I'm corrently a teacher with Ekiti State govt but I need this job. I will try and follow ur what u've said and see how it's going to be possible that day. Thanks once more.

@ OP do both. Know d time of d test. Av an evening wedding if possible. Bend d bendable.

It happened to my good friend and the same nnpc.He did sit for the test
Look at it this way,you are going to be a family man and in this present economy , you need all the money you can get. Don't throw this chance away as its for you and your family

My advice is that u attend both. Noting the crowd that would write this test, I doubt they would begin early.


Don't just assume that the fact you postpone ur wedding means the job is a sure deal. NNPC nor know that one oooo
