Why Do 80% Of Nigerians Lock Their Phones? What're You Hiding? by Diffdeef(m): 7:29pm On Nov 26, 2014
The rate at which people lock their phones is outstanding,it came to my notice to create this thread because it's all around me,all my siblings lock their phones,my friends & close friends etc,I barely access their phones, some I haven't even for once accessed their phones, haba, the worst is even in my fam,our last born (smallie) locks his phone.

Please dear "phone lockers",what're you hiding? I get answers like,"I use a very expensive smartphone, with lots of files that I wouldn't want someone to tamper with" okay, nice answer, but why do I still see people lock their nokia torch phones and its likes?

"privacy" is the most reason people lock their phones, but to be honest,if you have nothing to hide, you wouldn't lock your phone, even if you have to,it should be occasionally, maybe you ran outta battery and you wanna charge your phone somewhere, you can lock it,but why still lock it at home? With your family? Friends? it's just devious.

Bottomline: If your phone is always on lock mode, two things run through my mind.

1. You a cheat/player. You're probably avoiding people seeing your,SMS Inbox,your call logs,contacts,online conversations like whatsapp,bbm,Facebook etc,your pictures.

2. Pornography. You're also avoiding people seeing your pornographic videos & photos.

Well, few people that do lock their phones sincerely have nothing to hide, just few....

PRIVACY!! In fact, I'm not usually comfortable when someone's making use of my phone and that's why I rarely give it out. Not like I'm hiding anything though, just that it's MY PHONE.

If you want to access my phone, jst tell me. Don't worry, you can't see porn on my phone, not that there is none, I have them, but you have to be a very good hacker to see where it is on my phone. But my phone is always locked since it has a locking feature.

I hate to lock my phones but I have a friend, the moment he lays his hands on it, he must read all my messages including bbm and whatsapp, he refuse to mind is own biz. He sucks badly.

I lock mine as a final effort to frustrate thieves. Since they're good enough to steal it effortlessly at least they should crack their brains to unlock it.
