In this sci-fi epic, a failed global-warming experiment kills off most life on the planet. The final survivors board the SNOWPIERCER, a train that travels around the globe via a perpetual-motion engine. When cryptic messages incite the passengers to revolt, the train thrusts full-throttle towards disaster.

Very interesting movie. One of the better post-apocalyptic films I've seen. Doesn't hold anything back, very violent and bleak outlook on humanity and social stratification. Would definitely recommend.

A very apt review. In my humble opinion, I think Snowpiercer is one of the most underrated movies of 2014.

Just watched "The Maze-runner"... Its pretty much not so far behind.
